Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals seek solutions to the question of why behavior changes over time. They are primarily interested in the role of environment in behavior change, but they look at the role that biological and environmental factors play. Many behavior analysts do either basic or applied research. Others specialize in applying behavior change principles to enhancing quality of life.

Intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (which affect 1 in 150 children) is based upon the principles and methods of Applied Behavior Analysis. Decades of research reveals ABA to be the most effective method of teaching children with autism. dynamic Therapy provides Early Intervention and Preschool programs that integrate ABA methodology to optimize the potential of every child.

Dynamic Therapy's program enhances skills in communication, cognitive functioning, social skills, behavioral functioning, and those skills relevant to a child's everyday life. Our goal is simple but effective: to create the most effective learning environment that facilitates learning throughout a child's development.

A certified teacher can help a child reach goals, but not exclusively. Like the African saying, "It takes a village to raise a child," parental involvement is an important ingredient – from planning through implementation – in this program. In fact, every person is a teacher in a child's world. Family trainings and support groups are available to assist family members in becoming an effective educator. At Dynamic Therapy & Learning, we customize training for each child's requirements. Sessions incorporate age-appropriate activities and we may also encourage the involvement of sibling and extended family members, depending upon circumstances.

Upon acquiring the right skills, a child may be placed in a preschool environment with a teacher skilled in ABA principles and other relevant training techniques.
