Opportunities with Dynamic Therapy & Learning are available throughout our service region in the Hudson Valley, the five boros of New York City, and New Jersey.

This position involves the following duties and responsibilities associated with the improvement of gross motor skills and movement:

• Provide evaluation and treatment of children in home-based and school-based settings

• Assist children in developing and improving postural control, ambulation, balance and coordination skill

• Aid patients in performing resistive, assistive and free movement exercises that strengthen gross motor skills

• Evaluate a child's progress while maintaining and/or adjusting ongoing therapy plan

• Instruct family members and caregivers on appropriate intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over at community settings

• Perform individualized (one-on-one) therapeutic exercises with patients according to supervisory medical staff's prescription

• Instruct patients in the care, use, function, and application of prosthetic devices such as braces, collars, belts, crutches and canes

• Perform all job duties under the supervision of staff physicians

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy , a New York or New Jersey state license have 1-3 years work experience.
