Answers:
1.If you feel that your child is not developing according to typical development charts (such as in the book What to Expect During the First Year, by Arlene Eisenberg), or is feeling frustrated as the inability to communicate, grasp objects. mobilize, etc., you should contact your local Early Intervention Office, school district, or pediatrician, depending upon your child's age.
2. Early Intervention evaluations are conducted in your home with you being an active participant during the assessment. Pre-school/school age evaluations are typically completed in one of your offices.
3. We provide EI Multidisciplinary Evaluations, Preschool Psychological Evaluations, Speech Evaluations, Feeding and Oral-Motor Assessments, Physical Therapy Evaluations, and Occupational Therapy Evaluations.
4. You may contact us at 845-651-2251 and we would provide you with the appropriate county/school district telephone numbers. For Early Intervention, an Early Intervention Official Designee would speak to you regarding required paperwork. For preschool/school age children, the director of your school's Committee of Special Education would provide you with the appropriate paperwork.
5. You will be asked to sign a release form to share your EI Multi Evaluation with your county and the evaluators. For Preschool, your school district will see the results if going through your CSE/CPSE. Dynamic Therapy also provides Private Pay Assessments as well.
6. Evaluations are performed by the appropriate licensed/certified professionals in the disciplines for which your child is being evaluated.
7. Every attempt is made to provide your child's assessment in his/her native language.

9. We are bound by confidentiality laws of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Our teachers and therapists adhere to the FERPA Confidentiality Laws and are NOT ALLOWED to discuss/share your child's name or any other personally identifiable information, including assessment results, without very specific permission in writing.
10. Yes, absolutely. We have directors in Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Behavioral Intervention. We would definitely be able to lead you in the right direction.
11. Yes, we provide FREE screenings throughout the year at one of our three clinics, as well as in community preschools.
